Who is the Hub for?

Our real longing for the Hub is to have a home for everyone in the community.  We realise that this is a tall order but why not.  We don’t all necessarily want to hang out together at the same time but how wonderful that we can spend time together at different events enjoying different groups and meeting and making new friends. 

The Hub front window says:

• Here for Everybody
• Many different events
• Supporting the local community
• Helping to meet your needs
• A place to meet
• Just drop in

We have tried not to fill the Hub space and time up with lots of good ideas and there are some areas which need developing so at present we have events going on specifically for:

 At Present:

 0 – 3’s with their carers (Little Spokes)
Parenting classes (starting in January 2012)
Housegroup (for anyone and everyone)
Book Club (for anyone and everyone)

Growbaby for families in need of baby clothes and equipment
Skills for life with teenage mums from Fassett road
Coming soon:

 In 2012 we hope to be setting up and H2O course which is an investigation of Christianity.  For more information on what the course will be like click here. 
We also have plans for a student group, further housegroups, a bicycle maintenance course, dress making classes, basic cooking classes and a youth group.
