Students

Currently located just around the corner from Kingston University’s Penrhyn Road campus, Kingston Vineyard loves how its proximity to the university reflects its own commitment to serving students in our local community.

In the past, the church has had a strong cohort of postgraduate students in attendance, but we are very much open to students of all ages, whether undergrad, postgrad, or beyond! Many of our students are international, and find the church to be a ‘home away from home’ whilst studying in the UK.

With the opening of our new drop in centre “the Hub”  just next door to Cooper House, we are excited to explore ways in which we can connect with more students in the community. Among the ideas we are currently brainstorming are having open study sessions (with free WiFi as well as tea and coffee available) if you’d like to escape the library for a more homely atmosphere; talks and seminars on relevant issues geared towards twenty and thirty-somethings; and nights out in Kingston, be it at the pub, cinema or bowling alley.

We have a postgraduate student, Tobie, who is our postgraduate link person in the Uni, so if you would like to talk to him you can contact him at tobbiedpsychic@yahoo.com.  Our undergraduate link is Temitope, if you would like to talk to him you can contact him at tp2kool@yahoo.com either of them would be happy to meet up with you to talk about Kingston Vineyard, the meaning of life,  or to show you round Kingston and to introduce you to people living locally.  Or for that matter any other questions you might have.  Do get in touch with either of them directly if you wish.

We’d love to meet you! So let us know if we can help in any way…
